    HP 5000 scanner

    Will the HP 5100 scanner RB3-0332-000 work in a HP 5000? I have a dead 5000 in the field and a 5100 parts machine in house.

      I believe the answer to that question is no. The 5100 is a faster printer than the 5000, subsequently the laser motor is faster.
      Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
