    Laserjet P2055dn blank pages.

    Have a P2055dn, shoots out completely blank pages. Config page, demo page, supplies page, anything and everything blank. Tried known good cartridge (OEM), stopped halfway, nothing on drum. Don't have much experience on these, so any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.... Jeff M.

      Check all high voltage connections; These break and get bent; Is the top cover on I think theres a laser fail safe switch.

      The manual isnt much help;

      Pages print but are totally blank.
      The sealing tape might still be in the print
      cartridges.
      Verify that the sealing tape has been
      completely removed from the print
      cartridges.
      The document might contain blank
      pages.
      Check the document that you are printing
      to see if content appears on all of the
      pages.
      The product might be malfunctioning. To check the product, print a
      Configuration page.

        Got this one! Thanks to Als. Laser scanner shutter not opening because the protrusion on the front door that pushes the cover open was broken off. The piece was still insude the machine (it fell out when I removed the covers to inspect the scanner), so I superglued it back. We'll see how long it lasts. It pays to get back to basics and think it through logically!!! Thanks..... Jeff M.
