Have had this issue before and cleaned it out and that fixed it at the time but know I'm having the same problem again. Any suggestions on what the problem might be?

Take the carts out of the carridge and look at the mylar connector strips in the carridge. If they have dimples then you need to replace the carridge.

You are now the proud owner of a boat anchor. The carriage is bad and not available from HP. If you can find a used one it will still be a crap shoot as to if or how long it will work for you. You will be better off if you just replace it.Comment
