    HP LJ P3005dn, blank display

    HP LJ P3005dn, display is on but blank. It started with "DIM ERROR" indication than later on it was hanging saying something like "84mB" with asteriks lines. After another reboot the display stays empty with the backlight on..

    Any ideas please?

      If it could, it would say, "Replace my formatter." on the display, but it can't. It may be a bad memory DIMM, but these printers have a weakness in the formatter, anyway.
      Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
