Hp laserjet p4014n not turning on

Hello Everyone,

I have an HP Laserjet P4014N that when I turn it on it makes the noise like it's warming up but then it stays dead. We replaced the power supply board but still we are having the same issue. Any ideas on what else to try?

Have you tried an Engine test?

With the device powered up, locate the Engine test button, and press it. If the printer engine is functioning, you will get a print out with some thin lines across it. This is a basic test.

The Engine test button is on the right hand side, bottom of the slotted air vents, you will see a small slot. you will need a small screwdriver to press it.

If the engine test works, you probably have a dead Formatter board.

A dead Formatter will result in no control panel display.
