Customer called us in to this device, apparently after several warranty visits by HP. No repair resulted from HP visits, so we got the job.
Device randomly throws up 'General Misprint error' then decides to run a full cleaning cycle. Several times a day.
I understand this is most likely due to paper size mismatch (U.S letter Vs. A4) but all settings are correct, and latest Firmware is installed (20120104). It even does this from internally generated test pages like the Diagnostic or Configuration pages. Kind of eliminates application or Driver software problem.
Status log also shows a few 25.0554 errors. I can't find this error code listed in any of the manuals. I expected to see 41.xx errors for the paper size mismatch, but there are none in the Status log.
This would be another of many CM2320 models we have seen with poltergeist behavior, random errors, and not detecting new toner cartridges, etc.
Anyone else, or are we the lucky ones?
