    Error 49.4C2F HP CM6040

    Dear all,
    I have a CM6040 ends up with this error code while the copier is booting so the copier does not get to ready state. The manual talk of firmware error. How can one do firmware upgrade under this condition when the machine does not get to ready state. Thanks for your help.

      Disconnect any network cables, and maybe the network card to see if it goes away. You may have to see if there is a print job on the network.

          It's the formatter, had to do 2 last month because of this. It must be an epidemic... HP was out of the boards and they were on backorder.. found a rebuilt online. Good luck

              I did that already and still show code.
