Error 49.2FC1 on HP CM3530 while printing long document and firmware question

    Error 49.2FC1 on HP CM3530 while printing long document and firmware question

    I've had my HP CM3530 for a few days now and had my first problem today while printing its manual in PDF which is about 300 pages.

    At page 265 I got this error on the screen:

    49.2FC1 ERROR Turn off and then back on.

    After doing so I was able to print the rest of the document without any errors. How can I find what this error means?

    By the way, I see the firmware on this machine is from 2009 and the latest was released in 2012. Is there any reason I shouldn't update the firmware? They say it's irreversible once the firmware is updated, are there any bugs in the latest firmware or other reasons for not updating it?

          Do you guarantee this error code and what it means is in the manual you are selling? What other kind of information is in this manual?
