I seem to be getting "30.01.41 - Scanner Failure" regularly on my HP CM3530, it may be coincidence but it seems to happen when I open the service door, rebooting the machine always clears the error. Scanner and ADF work fine when this error doesn't show up.
Is this a bug that a firmware update can solve or is the scanner actually failing?
Should I install the latest firmware? The current firmware is 3 years old and the latest one was released in January, but once upgraded it's irreversible, are there any known problems with the latest firmware?
