[Misc] Hp feed roller change?

Can anyone confirm has HP recently changed the look of the very common feed rollers ? I started getting these in from Depot America and I questioned it with them, they say they are new OEM The change is the inner roller material, it's black instead of gray which been for as long as I remember.

Not sure. I did see this kind on a LJ 4300. Looks like some kind of foam between the hard plastic and the outer rubber.

I did not install them and am disputing it with Depot America, they sent another replacement set and it is the same with the black foam inside. I just ordered a kit from parts now and it was the original style "gray foam"

I want someone to produce a document of a parts change, when ever any manufacture changes a design, they send out a tech bulletin.

I am sure the black ones are a salesman's idea. New space age rubber for jam free performance.

The rollers are perfectly fine. been getting those for over a year now. No worries dude

Definatly OEM; I think Liberty Parts team has an article on them.
