HP USB auto play of auto detect

Set up HP P3005's 6 of them x 3 laptops today.

is there a way to disable auto detect via USB when you plug in these printers.

I imagine because of the Serial numbers each time you plug in one of these printers it Autodetecs the driver and adds it (cannot find a way to stop or disable this)

Each laptop now has 6 HP 3005's on them. seems kinda stupid....it works but I'd rather not have the customer to have to select the correct printer. I've labled the printers and renamed the printers but I see issues on the very near horizon....

For security reasons these printers have to be set up usb.

Disabling Autoplay does not stop this frome happening...

One of the things you can do first is set each laptop to the specific printer as default. This way each laptop will have its own specific printer. Beyond that how are the laptops picking up the other prints I am not to sure how you have it setup? Hope my suggestion helps.
