scanning

has anyone setup scan to folder on a laserjet 5035 using two network cards? I can set up to print with both from 2 networks but as soon as scanning is enabled authentication fails..
Any ideas/theories guys?

Try entering in the domain name before the username or IP address of the machine that holds the username before the username:

domainname\username

or

x.x.x.x\username

The machine needs to know where the credentials are kept so that it can authenticate correctly. If the machine just isn't authenticating, then this means that it can find the network path ok.
