    LJ2430 pcl xl error

    Pops up occasionally. Customer can power off and reset but printer will spit out jibberish if not caught in time. Any help would be great.

      A pcl xl error is a pcl 6 error (hp renamed their pcl xl driver to pcl 6).

      Have you customer change the driver to pcl 5 or PS.

      That should help.

          Agreed. PCL 6 for the most part always seems to cause an error or a steady stream of corrupted print jobs. Best to avoid it all together.

              Thanks for the replies. I recommended that to my customer a few days ago after I got some info on the error and havent heard back.
