is there any reset procedure for hp cm4540 fuser kit ( i have a copy of service manual but there's no reset procedure )...thank you..

The reset is in the new fuser. When you instal it, it will reset.

exactly as our friend said ,u must change a new fuser and it will reset i stacked on same pro .

There will probably be a 33 ohm fusible resistor on the fuser somewhere, replace with the same size of resistor and refit!

Did anyone ever find where the reset fuse is located on the CM4540? I have a perfect working fuser at a customers site and it is flashing the "replace fuser" error message. This has automatically triggered them to believe that the copier is faulty. I don't want to have to replace the fuser when it is working fine and can be reset. Does anyone know the procedure for this please?

Thanks for your help but this is for the transfer belt and not the fuser. Have you any idea where the fuser needs to be reset?
