Designjet 450c media error

Wondering if anyone knows why time after time, doesn't matter how I load a roll of paper, we keep getting a solid red light next to media. Also if there is hp software that can be used on the pc to interface with the plotter that might show different errors, ink levels, paper level, etc. Thank You for any help.

Have you tried what the sm suggest?

Unfortunately we only have the user manual.... We've tried to realign the paper to many times to metion. It goes through its normal start up, tells you to align paper and we do. When it goes through its final start up, the print head goes to left side home position, then comes back to the right about three inches and stops and all 3 error lights come on. After pushing the cancel button, the align paper light is solid green, and the media error light is solid red. Any other help would be great. Thank you, Robert

Buy the manual

You really need to get the manual. It will help you with the error code lights. And it contains the means to run a diagnostic test. I am sure someone has it on line for $12.00 bucks which you can add to your customer bill.
