one of our customers called in and says that the machine is in a constant state of calibration. it just keeps cycling and calibrating. anybody seen this happen before? just a direction to look , any advice would be greatly appreciated. tia rb

I would check toner; Kinda of a pain cause you have 4 of them that could be the problem.

Some machines permit you to bypass the calibration sequence in order to run tests and diagnostics. I'm not sure if that one lets you do that (I know 4700 does it.) but it would be worth checking the manual or investigating the menus to see if it is possible. Use the diagnostic tests to troubleshoot.
