    M9040 MFP

    Hi Guys, i normally find myself in the Sharp Forums but as our company has taken on some HP kit i need your help. I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but we have installed an M9040 MFP without a finisher; it just has an output tray. However, when we copy a 2 page document, the copied page (ie page 1) lands on the output tray, face up, followed by page 2, face up; so when you pick up the copied document page 2 is facing you with page one behind it. I have searched through all settings for something relating to copy output but cannot find anything. I have seen something similar in Ricoh's over the years, but they would have a "Face up/Face down" output option. Again, apologies if this is stupid, but we've just started bathing our feet in these machines.

    Need to set it for face down output which is Standard output

    In configure device menu;
    PAPER DESTINATION= STANDARD OUTPUT
    STANDARD OUTPUT
    LEFT OUTPUT BIN
    STANDARD TOP BIN

    Allows the user to configure the output bin destination.
    Only the installed bins appear on the menu

          Thanks Wild Bill, but this unit will not have a finisher attached - it will onlt have an output tray. Are the settings you refer to available without a finisher installed?
