HP C310a - "Clear Carrage Jam"

I am not too familiar with these little printers, but has a customer bring one in so trying to help her out.... Paper will feed in, message appears before anything printed on paper. Power off/on, paper will eject from machine, no wrinkles/tears/etc. Carriage seems to be moving freely from side to side, all ink cartridges seated correctly... any suggestions?

You should go down the road to fixyourownprinter.com. They do specialize on inkjets over there.

Clean the rail the carriage slides on and the encoder strip...Easy to do and rules out ink and grime.
