HP Laserjet 1300 Gears problem. Loud noise.

    hello
we have a HP laserjet 1300 that served us well many years.
recently it started to make a lot of noise from the gear mechanism while printing.

i opened the machine and saw that a little black gear is making the noise.
there is one step that has been worn out and the result is a very noisy but working printing.

this is the gear marked with red:

Can this part itself be replaced or do i need to replace the all mechanism?
is it available to find this exact gear in other hp models? i have some in my storeroom.

    thanks.

It looks like it is an assembly. is this the right or left side?

if the printer is facing front to you, its the right side.
