HP 4730 pdf corrupt to any windows based os

I have installed a few HP4730 MFPs in numerous places. I think they are a great machine but i always come across the same problem. When setting up scan-to-folder on ANY windows server operating system i rcieve the "file is corrupted error" on pdfs. This is intermittent one will go through fine then the next 3 corrupt. When i install it on windows user os, every scan comes through fine.
I try not use the server os but in many of the places its a must and this is really starting to wear me down....

Has anyone else seen this or know of a fix? many thanks.

Did you update the firmware on the printer? You might try that. I believe HP had a fix in one of the latest firmware updates for that problem. I know that fixed it in some of the other models, not sure about the 4730mfp's. Oh and make sure you use the product code not the model number when searching for firmware. CM4730's and 4730's look nearly identical but the firmware and in some cases drivers are not (unless it is the universal driver).
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
