P4015 Duplexing letterhead after firmware upgrade

Here's a strange one. Upgraded the firmware to newest--04.170.3--and everything works, but when the customer tries to print letterhead out of tray 1, it duplexes every time. Tray 1 is set to "any size" and "plain" at the printer and the customer is specifying letterhead in the print driver. If the customer chooses "unspecified" in the print driver, it prints single sided. Duplex is not picked when printing letterhead and changing the paper type to letterhead in the machine doesn't help either. I don't know how old the print driver is, but this problem did not happen until after the upgrade. Has anyone encountered this problem?

I haven't been in that situation but if it were me I would try one of the following. Different print driver, factory reset, nvram initialization.

Thanks, wseyller!! We did talk about upgrading the print driver, but their IT guy wasn't around to try it then. If the new driver doesn't work I'll try the resets you suggested.
