Hi all, and thanks in advance for any ideas on this issue.
Not sure if a power outage started the issue or not, customer doesnt know. The mfp takes a really long time to initialize ( sometimes 10 minutes ) before it goes to ready, sometimes it gives the -check scanner lock and turn off power to reset- message.
When it does get to ready state the e-mail function is greyed out and says "not configured" across the icon, although all of the setting are still configured.
When ready sometimes the keys will respond correctly and copy or fax, but sometimes you can push a key and will not have a tone or respond unless you wait sometimes 5 minutes, then performs the action (very delayed)
What I have done so far:
upgraded firmware to the latest version
unplugged hdd and reboot-( it initializes faster, but still had same issue with key response sometimes )
Formatted hdd-re-input settings- still same problems
The formatter has good heartbeat
Im not sure where to go from here without changing boards that MIGHT fix the problem.
Was hoping someone had a simillar issue that could point me in the right dirrection.
