Laserjet M4345 displays incorrect toner amount

I just replaced the print cartridge due to print quality issues with the old one and upon replacing the print cartridge the toner amount did not change after the device recognized the new print cartridge. The old print cartridge was replaced with 26% of life left on it and the new one is showing 26% of life left. I updated the firmware to the latest version that I have, 48.213.7, and that did not change anything. I know that the DC Controller gets the signal from the antenna sensors that read the cartridge. Could there be a problem with the DC Controller?

Update: I tested the cartridge in a different M4345 and the device recognized the cartridge as having 26% left in the cartridge. So I put back in the other cartridge which had 62% left and now it shows 26% for that cartridge as well. I rebooted the device with no change to the reading. I have never had a cartridge need to be changed premature, so the cartridge has always hit its low state before I replaced it. Could this be normal for this device to not reset the reading when the print cartridge is replaced premature? Could there be a manual reset within service mode?

            Regarding WTF...

Just that it sounds like your using a parts Bazooka. What does the LCD have to do with anything?
Ill add that if its a refurb swap the toner K.I.S.S.

Parts Bazooka? That's great! I'm going to start using that at work if you don't mind.
Still, sounds like there's a bit of a language barrier problem here. The "resets" do take care of some thorny situations if used correctly after all, and maybe marksman has seen that work for this problem.
A better explanation with maybe a better translation from marksman would be way more helpful to the community at large, though. Hopefully that can be done.
