[Jamming] HP Laserjet pro 400 MFP, ADF Scan Problem (Won't recognize last sheet)

Thinking I am missing something simple, I am posting this. When scanning a large group of documents it will not recognize the last document and aborts the job a won't assign the file name. I believe the scanner is thinking their is another page thet it tries to feed, can't feed it, then aborts. Messed with sensors etc...
Has anyone seen and fixed this ? Intermittint problem thats driving me nuts. (Not far trip.. lol)

I've had a similar problem with this MFP, in my case the ADF would keep trying to feed sheets on a copy job when none were present. In each case it was the adf paper detect flag being stuck down intermittently. When you see the problem does the adf roller keep cycling down to pull the paper and no paper is present? This the problem that I'm seeing with this adf. In all three case the unit was under HP warranty and I replaced the ADF assy' and have not had the problem since. I believe that this problem with the flag could be fixed since the flag is hitting the side of the u shaped sensor, but since I've not had a non warranty I have not tried to repair. (Push down pretty hard on the flag with your finger and see if it sticks sometimes)

Thats exactly what I thought. Yes it sticks and I have been trying to fix it. So far with no success. In my shop working on it now.
