Makes a groaning grinding type noise when its initializing and calibrating. If I cheat the front door and pull the transfer belt away from the toners a little the noise stops. I replaced the belt probably 20k prints ago for another issue. I can't see anything physically wrong with it and it doesn't make the noise when turning it manually. I am going to try another belt but would like any suggestions on what else if anything it could be.

Re: HP CLJ 3800
Is it an abnormal noise? Initializing and calibrating is noisier than regular operation.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".Comment
