[Jamming] HP LJ 4050tn Envelope feeding from tray 1 jams

This machine is feeding multiple envelopes at once. I put a, used but good, tray 1 feeder assembly on this machine and it is doing the exact same thing. Their has been alot of humidity in this area for a long time thinking that's it. Any thoughts will be GREATLY appreciated... THANKS !!!

Envelope feeding can be a bit fiddly, the machine is designed to reliably feed one thickness of paper and envelopes are two or more thicknesses.
You might want to see if the envelopes they are feeding are in spec with what HP says will work.
I don't know if it is still available, but HP used to offer an optional envelope feeder for this machine. If it is still available new from HP, and the envelopes are in spec, the owner of that machine might want to consider that.

Thanks so much for your feedback, really helps. Actually Precision Rollers has a refurb envelope feeder that I am trying to get them to purchase.
