The customer has replaced the toner collection unit but the message, REPLACE TONER COLLECTION UNIT, remains on screen and the printer will not print. I have checked the residual toner feed shute and motor, replaced the waste toner sensor, checked the waste toner collector on the itb and also tried a different ITB. I have also changed the DC Controller and Formatter but the message remains and the printer is unresponsive. 
Interestingly, when you print the config page the printer fires up and then stops. If you then cancel the print from the printer control panel it will print the Jetdirect page. Similarly, if you tell it to print the demo page it will fire up and the stop again. Cancelling the print causes it to print the demo page perfectly.
Any ideas on what's going on here and to look at next?
