HP Network Meter Reads

We have several accounts with multiple copiers and especially multiple HP Laser Printers under contract. Is there a free or nearly free program that will obtain the page counts and email results? I am familiar with the most popular software choices that will do this but since we only have a few of these situations I would prefer to not spend a small fortune or continue having to go to all of them each month to manually get readings. Some of these are banks so we have to get escorted in to some locations to get readings. Just trying to get rid of some of the hassle.

you might be able to write your own. doesnt seem too complicated. You would need to query the printer in question, get meter read then open email sender and send. I think visual basic would serve nicely. Are they HP printers? You probably would have to find a free program that has a timer that starts a program at a specific time. The program would now be your newly invented program. I am not sure of any free program as I have never looked but if you make it it would be free. Next idea would be to search for free email open source program and modify it. Use task manager in pc to start it when needed.
Check these out, some say free but I dont know for sure if it is for 30 days or forever. This is the link:my antivirus "microtrend" says its safe.

If it's a bank do you think they'll just open up a hole in the firewall for your reporting application?
