    CP4525 Permanent Storage Error 68.02 Code...HELP!!

I have a HP LaserJet CP4525 that will not clear this error. I already tried unplugging HDD and DIMM chip separately and turning off/on printer with no luck. Can anyone please help me out. Thanks.

@mailderrick...Thanks for the reply, no I'm still trying to fix it. I did try a Clear Reset with no success...I'm going to order the HDD before I touch the NVRAM. Any input would be appreciated! Thx

I thought you posted you already tried d/c the hard drive? If it didn't go away then it's not hard drive. Try an NVRAM reset, that should do it, if not then you will need to change the board

Not to familiar with the HP line. Can you please show me how to do a NVRAM reset procedure? or did you mean to physically re-seat the NVRAM. Thx

One or more printer settings that were saved in the nonvolatile storage device are invalid and have been reset to factory default. Pressing the Select (check) button should clear the message. Printing can continue, but behave unexpected in response to the changed settings.

                Action

                • Press the (Select) button to continue.
                • Turn the printer off and then on.
                • If the message persists print a Configuration page and check the printer settings to determine which values have changed. (To print a Configuration page, open the Information menu at the printer control panel and scroll to PRINT CONFIGURATION.)

I thought when he said he did a clear reset he meant a cold reset..which is why I went to the next thing, plus better chance on this machine that it will need NVRAM reset. HP guy is talking you through the cold reset..you did try that, correct..or did I misunderstand what you wrote.
