HP CLJ CM4730 MFP Shadow on copies

    Hi all,

I have a HP CLJ CM4730 that when you make a copy of a document, whether you use the ADF or the glass, it puts a shadow (haze) on the copy of the original

I have done a full calibration of the machine and calibrated the scanner also

I have cleaned the glass, and ADF components and made sure there is nothing on the glass or ADF area.

I have also ran a cleaning page through

This only appears on COPIES made, not on print jobs.

    What else can I try?

thanks for any assistance with this.

Have you tried doing a factory restore?

      I Mail,

No I haven't tried that, but it seems like a little over kill for something that is only affecting copies and Not print jobs.

I may end up doing that, but as a last resort.

      Thanks for the input.
