    HP 510 intermittent colour missing

HI HP guru's something to warm up your brains.

Have a HP 510, connected via ethernet which was printing fine for 2 years . Intermittently during printing it stops printing a colour .Normally its cyan . When i print solid cyan for testing , like i give a 2x2 inch blocks of c,m,y,k it comes out fine.

I tried reinstalling drivers , trying different drivers, different computer , different softwares like jpeg, tiff ,autocad etc.Wasnt able to isolate the problem to something specific .

I am getting no errors . Printer Alignment test comes out fine . Yellow printer head is new , All the cartridges are new.

    Firmware is latest .

Any advise on what to do .

    Thanks

I would try a cyan printhead and inspect the tubes for air bubbles."Banding" or loss of color can occur when air gets in the head.

Problem resolved . Stupid me . Didnt check the life of printer heads. Magenta was well past 100% . Replaced it with new one. Cyan was 96% replaced that as well .

Running well now. Thanks for your help
