Re: HP CM1015 printing issue
If you have another machine to swap with, try the formatter. Other than that, I gotta wonder if there's some sort of physical problem with the way it was put back together. I can't think of how an electrical problem would do this.

Not understanding; It was working fine then you cleaned this stuff, then it started having these issues?
You then took this problem machine Laser unit and transfer belt out and put them in another machine and they worked fine?
I am guessing it is a bad connection on the HVPS or the high Voltage Power Supply. If you broke it then you will have to fix but if this just happened it may be to expensive to fix for the customer. Good Luck!
We also replaced the HVPS with a new one. Same issue.Last edited by Guest; 07-08-2014, 09:14 AM.Leave a comment:

What does "resetting" the laser unit mean? Is there some sort of calibration you ran or do you mean just putting it back into place?Leave a comment:

HP CM1015 printing issue
Hy evereybody,
After cleaning the lenses on a CM1015 and resetting the laser unit i get only full yellow pages when printing colour and blank clean pages when printing or copying B/W. Cartridges are brand new, TB and laser unit working perfect on another machine. The one-page engine test pattern of horizontal lines are clean and perfect also. Help needed!IMAG0272.jpgTags: None
