    Z2100 error 86:01

Don't know when the last time was that this plotter ran. It was given to an Air Force unit, and had been sitting up for years. They called for me to replace the belt, that was in shreds. I replaced the belt and 2 printheads. I get the code every time I boot the machine. When going through the initialization process, it gets to the end and flashes the error. The carriage is always over the service station when it codes. I have cleaned and lubed the rail thoroughly. Wiped and inspected the encoder strip. I have removed the right side cover to observe it and can not see it hanging on anything.

    Any thoughts??

Just as a follow up, in case someone else has a similar issue. I took it all back apart to make sure I put the belt in correctly. Under the carriage is the sensor that reads the paper, ect. It has a tiny mirror on it. I found a small speck of ink on that mirror. Cleaned it, reassembled and it works.
