I have a 4730 machine with a brand new fuser installed. Anytime I try to print a duplex page I get a jam in the fuser before it even reaches the duplexer. I know its the Duplexer causing the problem but would like to know how it is solved. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: 4730 Jamming when duplexing
I think there's a set of black rollers that carry the paper to the duplex unit. Usually, just cleaning those rollers with belt cleaner/rubber rejuvenation will solve the problem. If you don't have any, try the "goo off" stuff they sell in grocery stores. -
Re: 4730 Jamming when duplexing
It's probably the duplexer assy, that's not too hard to replace. You can try rejuvenating the rollers on it like others have suggested.
Pray it's that. Because the other option is the delivery assembly, however that's not consistent with what you're describing. The delivery assembly usually will be when printing duplex pages, you'll get two pages by the delivery assembly, one duplexed, one not.
The delivery assembly is a multi-hour project to change.
