    dear all ,,,

    when i want to turn on HP laser jet 8550N
    the screen says " 54.2 Carousel Error Power Cycle "
    Can you help me ^^

          the most common is the carousel sensor ps3 is dirty, on of the toner carts is not in all the way or the flap/door on toner cart is broken and hanging up the carousel or the carousel drive motor is bad. Other items you need service manual to check , hp has you checking voltages for relay board, dc controller and other items. but usually it is ps3 faulty or dirty, carousel motor/drive system or toner cart obstructing rotation of carousel.
