HP officejet 4580 not feeding

Good day everyone,

I am working on a hp officejet j4580 printer that is not feeding paper. I tried following hp suggestions of
cleaning feed rollers that did not work. I want to know if anyone had this problem and how they correct the problem.

oh friend good luck.If you are a simple user then call a tech if not then you have to see this.give a print and see if the roller is turning.if it doesnt you have to dissasemble the printer and reach the axis and gears that gives movement to the feed roller.You have to check the gear that turns the axis and it is probably broken.Good luck

my friend thanks for the help, you are right the roller is not turning. I assume the gear is broken. Is it possible to get the gear or it is not wroth the time?

i guess that the gear is cheap.If you have time you can open it.Good luck
