[Error Code] Hp deskjet ink advantage 2645 AIO error code 0XC4EB01C9 HW_MICCI2 C

    Bonjour,

I have to repaire this HP (deskjet ink advantage 2645 All-In-One) which only shows an error code when turned on. As soon as you plug in the power cable
it powers on and some seconds later it shows: ERROR CODE 0XC4EB01C9 HW_MICCI2 C
    Nothing else happens.
    Not any noise at all.

The only proposition i read in HP's forum is to restart the device but that solves nothing.

    Please help me.

Re: Hp deskjet ink advantage 2645 AIO error code 0XC4EB01C9 HW_MICCI2 C [SOLVED]

I found a fix: Basicaly, you have to reseat the scanner's black connector ruban in the scan unit.
The scan unit is the upper part of the all-in-one printer, it contains the scanner lamp.

Be carefull or you migth break the scanner lamp or some other piece of hardware.

    More explainations:
The scan unit have 7 screws under. Remove them carefully, you'll see the scanner's lamp-block (it's a rectangular peace of black plastic, electronics and the lamp wich is a glass i think so be carefull).
A black ruban connector connects to the scanner's lamp-block comming from the base of the all-in-one printer. The ruban will split into to two separate connectors.
You have to remove those connectors and put them back in, verify that they are all in. That's all!!

You may test the device Attention the scanner lamp may emit light at some point of the boot process, so prepare for that. If the device powers on and boots without error you solved the issue. Perhaps you'll need to find a way to fix the connectors so that they don't get lose again. Replace the screws and remount the device.

Also this may solve the scanner issue when there's a communication error when you try to make a scan.
