HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dne envelope printing

Hi. I have a new printer that prints single envelopes fine. When I print multiple envelopes the first one prints fine but the toner on the rest of the envelopes is not fusing correctly and wipes off. The envelopes are made of the same paper as letterhead.
    Thanks

You are running them thru Tray 1 and your media settings are set to Envelope?

Yes they are feeding from Tray 1. Media settings in driver are set to envelope. On printer they are set to any type, any size.

OEM toner can make a difference here. Also, an OEM fuser will make a difference. If either of them are refurbished, that could be causing it.

I don't have my manuals handy so this might be fictional nonsense, but a lot of HP printers have an envelope feeder option. If nothing else here helps, you might consider looking into that.
One other thing - you might try a heavier paper type setting. It sounds a little like due to the envelope's narrow size, the fuser is losing temperature where the thermistor can't detect the loss, and the envelopes you are using might not quite be what HP had in mind for the envelope setting. Something to think about, anyway.
