Greetings everyone,
After installation of my new machine, i noticed to receive faxes i needed to press the start fax button everytime.
Outgoing fax is Ok and in the Fax Recv setup, the Answer mode by default is Automatic.
I've configured the Answer mode to Fax/Tel but it did not worked.
The phone line was checked and the telephone company has reported that the line was Ok and there was no telephone line services that could block or interrupt incoming faxes.
Please advice.

What happens if you set the recieve mode to fax only?

Yes, as theengel, mentioned try setting the fax to fax mode only if it has that mode only. This begs the question then, do you have any other service or machines attached to this machine using or sharing the fax line ?. check the number of rings it is set to pickup at, and change it to about 2 or 3. last if all fails, reset the fax machine to default settings and setup again. off course printout one touch numbers, and any setup reports. read the manual.
