HP fax line settings
Can anyone tell me how I can change the attenuation settings on HP MFP faxes

If theres nothing in the CP on it then there is most likely a potentiometer (sp) on the formatter or engine board that you can use to adjust it. Of course you didn't mention the model number so I can't tell you exactly from the service manual.
