Sorry, technicians only see equipment when it apparently isn't operating properly.
There are more reasons for that than you may understand.
Perhaps if you can share a bit more information about why this is an issue someone can give you the information you want.
Personally, if I had to make that choice I would choose the newer machine as technical support would be available longer for that machine. But based on the tiny bit of information you chose to share, there is a fair chance that my advice given with good will to you could turn out just to be nonsensical dumbassery from me, and who wants that?

Some parts are very hard to find for a 1050. can get everything for an 800.
