[Misc] X736 Door open message

Hello All,
I have a X736 that alway show to close the front cover. I've tested 2 swtichs on the Main-brd at connectors JCVR1 & JINT1. Even replace the Brd and still get the message. Is there a sw that I'm missing or its a false error that not documented.

I have noticed that on other Lexmarks a number of switches (like, for example, the switches for the side doors and waste toner panels) will throw front door open messages. So check back doors and the top flap, etc.,.

Diagnostics menu
1. Turn off the multifunction printer.
2. Press and hold 3 and 6.
3. Turn on the MFP.
4. Release the buttons when the progress bar
displays [ release after progress bar pass the L on the lexmark logo ]



Sensor Tests
There are two groups of sensors tests, static sensors and dynamic sensors.
To run the Sensor Test:
1. Touch SENSOR TESTS in Daig Menu.
2. Select either Static Sensors or Dynamic Sensors.

I finally fixed the issue by replacing the "EP drive unit". I guest the motor that is suppose to engage/latch the drum & dev unit drive would not have enough torque. It moved a quarter turn before popping the door message.
