Customer called in the base model number , C782n . I have never seen this configuration . Customer had been quoted for entire scanner unit by another vendor , but when looking under the glass , you could clearly see the scanner drive belt was broken or just detached , the scanner had been locked through the op panel . So I am guessing that the only thing wrong here is that the belt needs to be replaced . Machine will still print , but no scan operations . I have both the 4600 manual and the C782n . Scan unit is $800 to $1100 dollars belt is about $50 . Any thoughts on this ?
