Lexmark MB3442adw Unknown plastic part in MP Tray

    Hello,

I have a white plastic piece that looks to be some kind of cam lever from a Lexmark MB3442adw that supposedly was found jammed in the MP tray in the pickup roller.

I cannot for the life of me seem to figure out where this piece is supposed to go.

The printer will print from Tray 1 without it, but will jam on pickup from the MP tray however that may be another issue with the now chewed up pickup roller.

Is anyone able to identify this piece?

    Thank you.

Just thought I would update my post. I did manage to figure out where the part goes. It’s on the gearing mechanism for the MP tray.

When I opened the cover for the gears, I had also found that one of the spring arms was out of place and since fitting everything properly the jamming has stopped.
