    x463 de error

    Morning to all.....depending on where on the planet you are...of coarse....

    This machine has a 31.04 error...the customer has changed the cartridge 3-4 times and it still has the same error....what could it be?

    You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.... and
    if this was an easy thing to do then everybody would be doing it! But it isn't and they are not!!

      The error has something to do with the toner. Make sure the toner used is compatible with the printer. If it is, maybe the contacts are defective or printer toner sensor issue. If this is the case, I strongly suggest contacting Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance. Hope I can assist you more on this.

          New code is out to fix this " 31.04, 31.05 or replace defective or missing cartridge "
          A new code is out just recently to fix this error. Tried it to 2 X464 machines, so far so good. Call lexmark and get the code.
