I think there from the same person sending the fax and my machine receiving it. tried a dif system board, then a dif machine all together. still problem. maybe a fax setting i can adjust in the Lexmark? any ideas. thanks.

I sent you a direct email back last night, but I wanted to post this information for others to see in case they are experiencing a similiar issue(s) with firmware related challenges.
Best place to start is by updating the firmware to the lastest levels. This often fixes most outstanding issues with Lexmark devices. Printers and MFPs sit in warehouses after being programmed and are often WAY out of date by the time a customer buys them. You can download the latest engine, controller code, network, base, fax and scanner code by going to Lexmark - United States. Then enter in the code "filelist" and remove the quotes. This will download the Lexmark file listing of every business printer code they make. It will come down in a download as a ZIP file and then after you unzip it, a PDF file with the device, description and the code to enter in the initial support screen again to begin the download process.
Codes for the Lexmark X651de are:
x65x
Base LR.MN.P311e2,
Engine AR.JP.E208
Network NR.APS.N447b
Scanner S132
Once you have download the 62.6 MB file. Expand it. Then go to your MFP's IP address (located on front of display in most cases), and go through a internet explorer connection to do this. Click on the left column on Settings, then Update firmware on the right link area. Point through the browser to you location of the expanded .FLS files. Install them via the way the readme tells you too.
If that still fails to fix your issue. I would call 1-800-539-6275 and update the Customer Support Center on what the issue is and ask them to escalate it to third level support and to the escalation database for the engineers at Lexmark to work on the issue.Comment
