Lexmark x642e wrinkles envelopes

Customer has a Lexmark x642e less than a year old with about 2900 prints. Printer is wrinkling envelopes even though all settings are correct and "envelope enhance" is switched on. The same batch of envelopes were tried in another x642e in the next office and they go through fine. Anyone have any more bright ideas???

pull the fuser and check and see if someone has messed with the solenoid that activates when envelope enchance is activated. the solenoid quickly removes and reapplies pressure to the fuser to let the air outa the envelope, but in doin so makes a loud poppin noise. someone may have tryed to "fix" the poppen noise and removed or wedged the solenoid
