Lexmark XS463de Unsuported Toner

Used up the last toner with part number ending in 1236. The new toners from Lexmark for this machine end with 18 and 50. Both of them I get error code 32.05 unsupported print cartridge. The SM only said to replace cartridge. Lexmark support was no help. Supplies said 1236 was no longer available. Do i need to replace the drum unit also or flash the firmware?

try the firmware first, if that does not work, then repl the sys board. havent seen ur problem particulary but there was a problem with these machins saying defective cartridge. the firmware usually fixes this but have had some i had to repl the sys board
