    Lexmark MFP's

Hi, has anyone any experience of the latest Lexmark MFP's in the 20-50cpm sector in regard to reliability, quality of bulid, consumables etc.
My company is considering a dealership and I want to know what to expect.

    Thanks

We've been a Lexmark dealer for a couple years now and the reliability is not great. On the plus side the machines cost very little and the profit margin can be very good. Consumables have a high failure rate so you have to do unnecessary calls for defective cartridges, they are difficult to work on, all the covers are interlocked, alot of parts are not available so whole units much be purchased (doc feeders, scanner assemblies etc). And NEVER change 2 boards at once or you have a very large paperwieght on your hands. This makes troubleshooting time consuming because if a particular board does not solve a problem, the old board will have to be put back in the machine before a diffferent board is replaced. Oh and boards cannot be swapped between machines
