[Electrical] T640 no display

Hi have a t640 with no characters on the display
although the display is back lit ok and it prints fine
any ideas ?

I have had the desplay go bad on some of the other Lexmark printers. S series. I would just replace it. You can get used ones from some of the venders out there. Parts Now, Liberty. ? Not to expensive.
